About

I am a post-doctoral researcher at Medical University of Gdańsk, Poland, with a PhD in medical and health sciences (2023). My work bridges clinical physiotherapy, sports science, and evidence-based education.

I lecture at both public and private institutions — MUG and the Gdańsk College of Health—because one university clearly isn’t enough.

I also work as a physiotherapist and strength & conditioning coach in a clinic—because data is better when it sweats. Real-world practice keeps my research grounded, relevant, and occasionally sore.

I'm passionate about new technologies, open-source tools (some of which I try to build myself), and writing about where science meets practice—on the rare occasions I find time between teaching, treating, and tweaking code.

Currently, I'm investigating everything which might relate to apophyseal injuries (especially Osgood-Schlatter, Sever's, Sinding-Larsen-Johansson) in youth athletes.

From 2022 to 2025, I coordinated the Physiotherapy Program at the Gdańsk College of Health, Poland. That included a fair share of administrative puzzles and leadership duties—aka meetings, spreadsheets, and herding academic cats.

I am actively involved in science communication and applied research. From 2022 to 2024, I led the nationally funded project “Healthy Sport for Children and Youth” under the Ministry of Education and Science. I regularly publish, peer-review for international journals, and promote science through public engagement and education.

Research Interests

My current research explores motor control and biomechanics, rehabilitation and prevention of sports injuries in youth, functional assessment and movement profiling, and the role of science communication in physiotherapy education.
